Here are Newby's New Ideas for the Boyle County Board of Education:
TRAFFIC SAFETY: School traffic congestion on the Danville Bypass and Woodlawn/BCMS campuses must be resolved for the safety of our school children and their drivers, especially before the new KY 2168 Connector brings a new flow of school traffic on the Bypass from the north.
JOBS: Children must be educated today to be ready to work in tomorrow's jobs. All education is "vocational education" as it must prepare a child to succeed in the workplace.
TRANSPARENCY: School board meeting agendas, minutes, and financial reports should be posted and archived on the school district's website for public review and accountability.
Vote for Jennifer Gilbert Newby for Boyle County Board of Education on Tuesday, November 6, to put these New Ideas to work for Boyle County Schools!
